Mexican food focus of new TV show

A new cooking show that takes a fresh and healthier look at Mexican food debuts this month on the Food Network.

Chef and cookbook author Marcela Valladolid, a native of Tijuana, Mexico, will share authentic Mexican recipes with viewers by showing them how to make healthy, easy-to-prepare versions of some classic Mexican dishes.

Her show, ‘Mexican Made Easy,’ premieres at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.

Valladolid is a former editor at Bon Appetit magazine.
