George Lopez is returning to ABC, at least for one night.
The comedian and ‘Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria Parker will co-host this year's ALMA Awards, which celebrate Latino achievement in entertainment.
The 2009 ALMA Awards will air Sept. 18 on ABC. Organizers say it will be the first time the awards will air during National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Associated Press reports.
The ceremony, which honors Latinos who work in film and TV, will also feature new categories this year, including honors for emerging young talent.
