Border Patrol agents found 37 unauthorized immigrants crammed into four rooms of a Laredo motel, Customs and Border Protection said Tuesday.

None of the immigrants, of “various nationalities,” required medical attention, CBP spokesman Jason Darling said. They were found after associates arrested elsewhere told of their whereabouts.

The name of the motel was withheld as part of an ongoing investigation, but a report was being sent the Texas attorney general's office under the “Mind Your Own Business!” initiative, CBP said. The initiative is aimed at bringing state legal action against businesses with patterns of illegal activity.

I just spent 10 days along the border, they're everywhere's---out in the open. Go to the food court at the mall in McAllen, the zoo in Brownsville, any of the surrounding farms...you see all these primo Caddies & Suburbans lined up out in the fields with all these folks bent over picking the produce you likely ate today. Most hotel staff down there can't speak English. Couldn't even get an order straight at the I-HOP in Weslaco. Went to la pulga (what's that?) in Donna...its like downtown Mexico City.
