None of the immigrants, of “various nationalities,” required medical attention, CBP spokesman Jason Darling said. They were found after associates arrested elsewhere told of their whereabouts.
The name of the motel was withheld as part of an ongoing investigation, but a report was being sent the Texas attorney general's office under the “Mind Your Own Business!” initiative, CBP said. The initiative is aimed at bringing state legal action against businesses with patterns of illegal activity.
